Blue Buffalo True Chews Premium Jerky Cuts
When I am shopping for dog treats, I always pick up a bag of these True Chews. I love that there is a Turkey flavor because Turkey includes the ingredient of Tryptophan, which is the same ingredient that makes you feel nappy and relaxed after Thanksgiving Dinner.
Stella and Chewy’s Freeze Dried Snacks
These are yummy, soft treats great for training or encouraging dogs to eat. This Turkey flavor is found in the cat food department.
Wellness Calming Chews
L-Theanine is the first ingredient which helps support thinking, sleep and relaxation. The tasty cheese flavor is one that most dogs go crazy for. These are great for easing dogs into transitions.
Better Belly NO RAWHIDE Chews
I am not a huge fan of “rawhide” chews due to choking concerns. These Better Belly Chews are soft and digestible. These make great chew snacks!
Himalayan Dog Chew
There is no substitute for the ORIGINAL Himalayan Dog Chew. These chews are made out of Yak Milk Cheese! They are odorless, long lasting, don’t leave a stick residue, and dogs find them delicious. When they get down to the last inch or two, pop it in the microwave for a few seconds and you get a yummy Cheese Puff Treat!
Science Diet Sensitive Skin and Stomach Canned Food
When a dog needs a little help eating their dinner or taking medication, we use this canned food. I have never met a dog that didn’t love a little canned food added to their meal on a special occasion. We choose this Salmon flavor so we don’t offend any protein allergies.
Kuranda Elevated Bed
I have been a BIG fan of Kuranda Beds for a long time! These beds come in all sorts of sizes and materials. My favorite are the large size, vinyl bedding and aluminum frame. You will NEVER have to buy another bed! These are GREAT for all dogs but dogs with sore joints really love the comforting sling type elevation.
Outward Hound Slow Bowl
For fast eaters or dogs that need a little more mental stimulation, we love these Slow Bowls by Outward Hound. These are great for dry kibble or even a canned food or peanut butter snack. These bowls are durable and easy to clean in the dishwasher.
Toppl Toys
Puzzle feeders are a great way to entertain a dog when they aren’t physically active. We love these Toppl toys because they are suited for all types of dogs, from the rigorous chewer to the shyest dog. We like to stuff these with peanut butter or Science Diet Sensitive Skin and Stomach Canned Food and top with a few treats.
Martingale Collar
A martingale collar provides the benefits of a regular collar but with the added security through an additional nylon loop and D-ring to connect your leash. For dogs that might slip out of their collar due to backing away from something or just being a general Houdini, martingale collars are the perfect fit.
Dog Seatbelt
Whenever I transport a dog in the car, they are always on a seatbelt in the back seat. I usually end up adding a clip to the buckle part of this type of seatbelt and securing it to a part of the steel frame of the car so the dog doesn’t release themselves from the buckle.
